The D-Link DES-1008A 8-Port Desktop-Switch comes with eight(8)Fast Ethernet LAN ports for high-speed wired connections.
In addition the switch is compliant with IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE).
Equally important the switch supports D-Link Green Technology that features power-saving by link status and by cable length.
It also has Auto-sensing ports that automatically detect network connections and adjust accordingly, hence highly recommmmmmmmmmfor networking applications.
